Antipodean Warhammer fans, prepare for a celebration. Earlier this year, the 50th Warhammer store in Australia and New Zealand opened,* so it’s time for a party!

On Saturday the 2nd of November, every Warhammer store in Australia and New Zealand will be holding a massive celebration packed with games, goodies and, of course, cake. You’ll also get a fantastic pin badge just for showing up, emblazoned with a logo created specifically for the event.

You can take part in gaming activities for both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 called ‘The Power of 50’. The concept is simple – bring along a Power Level 50 force for Warhammer 40,000 and/or an army of 50 models for Warhammer Age of Sigmar to play games! Talk to your local store manager about how they’ll be running their event – some of them may have more guidelines on what you should bring.

You’ll also be able to get your hands on rare models for both games – an awesome Space Marine Terminator Chaplain for Warhammer 40,000, and Berek the Indomitable for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, complete with a very large hammer and unlucky orruk.**

If you’re lucky, you might be able to pick up stylish objective markers, dice and a dice tray featuring the Warhammer Community logo – these will be available in limited numbers, so be sure to get to your local store nice and early on the day to secure yours.

To find out more about how your store will be celebrating, check out the Store Finder and their Facebook page – or head in and ask the ever-helpful staff. Make sure to keep Saturday the 2nd of November clear in your calendar to go and enjoy the party!

* In Ballarat, Victoria, if you’re interested.
** Well… part of an unlucky orruk, anyway.
